Meet adorable little Wesley at just 10 days old. He is already the center of his Mommy and Daddy's world, and it's easy to see why. He was a perfect little gentleman for me during his newborn photo session in CNY.

He was asleep just long enough to capture some classic newborn sleeping shots. But, then was wide awake again, and alert for some beautiful eye contact with the camera.

The day finally arrived. After all the planning, my little sister's wedding day has come and gone. It was such a surreal day. I've shot many weddings before, and even though I wasn't shooting this one (Laura and Dave had the honor), it was still so special to share in it. I was one of the Maids of Honor (my older sister being the other) for my sister. It was so fun to enjoy each second of this day...lots of fond memories were made.

My Little Sister is Getting Married! | Syracuse NY Wedding Photographers

Even though it's been months since he's proposed, and almost all the wedding details are in place, I still can't believe that my baby sister is to be a married woman in August. It's really hard to believe that time has gone by that fast! But, I couldn't be more happier for Jeannie and her fiance', Tyler. They truly make the perfect pair.

I was so excited to shoot their engagement photos over the weekend. Jeannie really wanted to incorporate the rustic theme of their wedding somehow into their engagement photos. They are having their wedding reception in an old rustic barn. So, what better place to have some of their engagement photos taken than in our cousin's barn we used to play in as kids?! I can still remember building forts under the hay bales and swinging from a rope into the hay. As kids whenever we got to spend time with our Kraeger cousins at the farm, we always knew there'd be some sort of adventure ahead! We absolutely loved it.

Most of Jeannie and Tyler's engagement photos were shot around Denley Trout Farm, a family-friendly fish farm located near the Adirondacks. It's a great place to take the kids to fish and learn about the stages of fish development. Great place growing up and great place today. :)

I LOVE it when I get clients who are really excited about their session! Little Anja (love her name) is so lucky to have a loving Mom and Dad who had so many ideas for her 6 Month Baby Portraits. They know how fleeting these special moments are, so they wanted to make sure they captured their baby girl at this precious age.

Anja's Mom suggested a vintage-inspired theme, and I loved it! I always bring my own props, but she had also purchased these adorable vintage outfits that went perfectly with the theme.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting beautiful little Anja and your family. It was an honor to capture these precious memories for you.

Thursday I had the pleasure to meet this wonderful family and their 8 week old baby boy. He was a big boy at birth and such a strong, adorable little guy right now.

We were all pretty impressed with his posing skills at such a young age. He really liked to ham it up for the camera with wonderful eye contact and holding up his head like a champ!

I am very excited to announce the start of a new referral program for 2011 appropriately named, SpokesMOM!! It’s an easy way to earn FREE sessions and prints just by spreading the word about Into Memories Photography.

I am looking for 8 MOMS (or active GrandMOMS) in the CNY and NNY areas: 4 in CNY and 4 in NNY.

WHAT IS IT? A referral program for local Moms/GrandMoms who want to be SpokesMOMs for Into Memories Photography.

HOW IT WORKS: The SpokesMOM’s duties are simple: promote Into Memories Photography to your friends, family, co-workers, other moms, kid-related businesses, etc...Basically, your job is to help spread the word about my business when the opportunity presents itself!

For 1 year, Into Memories SpokesMOMs will be asked to:

direct friends and family to your online gallery of photos taken by Into Memories Photography
recommend and link to Into Memories Photography on Facebook, your family blog, and/or other social media sites that you are active on (Facebook, Blogger, Twitter)
recommend people to check out our website at www.IntoMemories.com and all our recent work on our Blog at: www.intomemories.com/blog
hand out referral cards with the images of your children - (Let other moms from work, your Mom’s groups or dance/gymnastics/soccer/school know about Into Memories Photography and keep a few referral cards (with your kids pictures on them!) in your purse to hand out when people ask who takes those fabulous pictures of your kids :)
sport a window decal on your vehicle
hand out/hang up marketing pieces in local areas of your community (library, daycares, doctor offices, children stores, etc.) All of the information that will be handed out/hung up (plus the window decal) will be provided to you at no charge.
inform potential clients about the different types of photography services that are offered at Into Memories Photography: maternity, newborn, baby, kids, high school seniors, and weddings
refer and book at least 1 portrait session in 2011 (The mom with the most booked referrals in 2011 will earn a FREE session in 2012 with a free CD with all of your images…that’s a $400 value!)
** keep in touch with Pam on your progress month to month, this is very important.**

WHAT WILL YOU GET? In return for all of your hard work showing off your child's pictures with Into Memories Photography, SpokeMOMs are awarded:

a free portrait session for 1 child, plus a $100.00 print credit toward product purchases

We had a great time utilizing the gorgeous natural light in her home. I was thrilled when she suggested we brave the snowy weather and take some shots outdoors. They have a fabulous wooden fence in their backyard which overlooks a now iced over waterfall...so pretty!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is enjoying the start of this New Year. Over my holiday break my little sister surprised us with wonderful news: she got engaged! I'm so excited for her and her fiance' (Tyler) and can't wait for their big day.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! | Liverpool Portrait and Wedding Photographer

I'm decked out in the Christmas spirit these days and it all started with putting up our tree last weekend. Although I love the end result of all the holiday decor, I was not granted the gift of decorating as my sisters were. My Mother's tree and household decorations could win prizes in any interior design magazine.

It has come to be that nearly every Christmas I make a round of phone calls to my sisters and mother...mostly for moral support on finishing the darn tree. Either I have too many lights, or not enough...or they aren't spaced evenly...either way I'm always worried that I'm not doing it right. So, after some encouraging words from good ol' Mom, I stopped fussing over every detail and just had fun with it. And even though it may not look like it could be in a magazine (notice how it's not straight...haha!), I still had a good time doing it...and most important my son really enjoys it.

Below is a sneak peak into our life around here during the holidays. Last few weeks has dumped quite a lot of snow here in CNY and like most children, my son loved to play in the snow.

I hope everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit and enjoying it with family and friends. We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year...from our family to yours! :)

Wow. We had an absolute blast with Kelly and Matt a few weeks ago. Kelly is my sister's dear friend and when she got engaged, I was SO HAPPY to be able to photograph the two of them for their engagement pictures.

My sister actually was my assistant for the day and we had a lot of fun. Except for the whole field full of snakes thing. THAT was not fun. I wasn't really scared of snakes before entering that field that day. Now it seems they are everywhere! Crazy how that goes.

Kelly and Matt were so wonderful. Matt was totally rocking the camera. Every time I clicked the shutter he would naturally move to a different pose without me telling him! It was so awesome...and he did it so naturally. Kelly was fabuluous too...she has such a natural beauty about her. They both photograph so well, and their love for each other really shines through. This morning I had the privilege to meet Chino. He is a motivational speaker working to improve people's relationships and needed some photos taken for his upcoming promotional materials. Chino is a natural when it comes to the camera. Every session I try to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible. Sometimes being in front of a camera can be intimidating to people, so I usually try to talk to them and just catch them off guard smiling...bringing out their natural best. This is exactly what happened with our session today. I love my job!

I had to share with you these great new mini accordion books we got in today! These will make great "brag books" for couples or parents.

Their mini size (3x3 inches) allow you to take them anywhere to show your family and friends. They even have a magnetic closure, so you could use it on a magnet for your refrigerator.

The hard cover is available in various colors of fabric, leather or a custom photo cover as seen below. The pearl press-printed paper comes with a UV coating for extra durability and sheen.

This particular sample book features photos from one of our favorite couples, Katie and Caleb.

Our Last Wedding of 2009 | Katherine & Jerry - Part 1 | Shot in Linden, NJ | Syracuse NY Wedding Photographers

We had a fantastic way to end our 2009 wedding season--shooting a wedding 2 days after Christmas! Katherine and Jerry found us online and noticed we do travel for photography. So, the day after Christmas Laura and I traveled to Livingston, NJ to stay with relatives and prepare for our Christmas wedding the next day in Linden, NJ.

We have never shot a Christmas-themed wedding before, and it was so beautiful! Katherine and Jerry opted to also have "before wedding" photos done. They were able to see each other and have some sweet moments just the two of them before their wedding. This has become a new feature in modern weddings we don't normally see in CNY, but we really welcomed this new event in this couple's wedding.

One of the highlights for us at the reception was the beautifully choreographed first dance with Katherine and Jerry. They did such a great job...it made me tear up! These two are such a loving and caring couple, and we are so thankful for the honor to share in your magical wedding day.

We had a great time with the fun bridal party, daggers, nerf guns and all. (Another first for us!) We loved how all of your personalities shined through in helping to make this day so special for Katherine and Jerry.

Thanks again for allowing us to capture your special day. We hope you have a wonderful honeymoon and best wishes for a long and happy marriage!

2009 was a fantastic year for Into Memories Photography. Not only did we meet the most amazing and fun-loving couples, but we had a lot of exciting changes ourselves.

1 - Laura got engaged! Our heartfelt congratulations go out to Laura and her fiance', Ken. We're looking forward to shooting their wedding and engagement/bridal sessions next summer!

With Christmas looming just around the corner, we are quite busy here in CNY. But, with all the bustle I wanted to share with you a little preview of what is to come for our new website.

On a beautiful November afternoon, Stacey and Daniel were married at the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Brighton, MI. After a wonderful ceremony the happy couple headed off to Crystal Gardens (Howell, MI) to celebrate their union! We had a wonderful time with Stacey, Daniel, their family and friends. Laurie and the Girls - Colorful Fall Portrait Photography

I was delighted when Laurie contacted me about doing some fall portraits with her two girls. Laurie and her husband's wedding was one of the weddings we shot when Into Memories was first starting out. We had a great time then, so I was very excited to see her again. Laurie suggested we go to the Erie Canal Park in Camillus, NY, and boy am I sure glad she did!

Now let me just say--aren't all of these girls gorgeous?! And their eyes...*sigh*...just beautiful. Once again, it was a blast working with them. You girls sure know how to rock the camera!

Comfort food on a snowy November day - Lifestyle Portrait Photographers, Liverpool NY

Today we woke up to the start of many a snow flurries here in CNY. What is the best thing for snowy, dreary November days?

Comfort food! You have to try this recipe if you love all things fall, especially the food.

Pumpkin Pie French Toast
(makes 4 servings)

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons brown sugar
8 slices of bread

Directions:
1. Mix the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cloves,
nutmeg and brown sugar in low flat bowl for easy dipping.
2. Dip the bread into the egg mixture on both sides and grill in a pan
until lightly golden brown, about 2-3 minute per side.
3. Serve with REAL maple syrup (preferrably).
4. Snuggle up on the couch next to the fire and ENJOY!

Lindsey + Jonathan = MARRIED!

We had the honor to photograph Lindsey and Jon's wedding this past Saturday. It turned out to be a beautiful day, perfect weather for a wedding!

We met Lindsey and Jon through one of our favorite wedding couples: Katie and Caleb. Katie and Lindsey are the best of friends. Katie and Caleb actually recommended Into Memories Photography to Lindsey after we shot their wedding a few weeks before. We had the pleasure to shoot Lindsey as a beautiful bridesmaid in Katie's wedding, and then again on Saturday! How lucky are we?!

There were so many personal touches to this particular wedding that made it all the more special. To the special 8-year, long-distance love story of Lindsey and Jon, to the homemade cake topper! It was all so magical...*sigh*

Congratulations, Lindsey and Jon! Best wishes for the best of days ahead of you!

Baby shoot with Halei

When we heard Michelle and Jon were expecting, we were so excited! Michelle and Jon were one of our favorite couples from our 2008 wedding season. Here is a photo below of the two of them from their wedding last year that we shot.

When their beautiful baby girl, Halei, was born, we knew we wanted to do a baby session! Thankfully, our wishes came true and this morning we had the pleasure to capture Halei at her finest.

Below is a sneak peak from their baby session. We will be offering baby and other portrait sessions and will be offering new albums and such. This new product will be a 8x10 print called "baby art" and comes in various styles and colors.
